Janette Strong, RPN

Janette Strong, RPN, is a Registered Practical Nurse and Colon Hydrotherapist; originally trained as a Certified Colon Hydrotherapist in the Wood Gravity Method. She then decided to further her studies and trained as a Nurse, immediately followed by training as a Certified Wellness & Lifestyle Management Coach.

Later Janette did additional I-ACT (International Association for Colon Therapy) training followed by advanced practice training from a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Colon Hydrotherapy. This has enabled her to help clients with more challenging or complex health concerns. By working collaboratively with Naturopathic Doctors, Medical Doctors and other Allied Health Practitioners, Janette can create a coordinated plan of care for clients to achieve optimal health and wellness.

She also teaches Tai Chi exercise classes locally for health and stress management. Another specialty area of interest is in using Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy (PEMF) for the management of pain, bone building and a broad range of health conditions. She is continuing studies in the area of Nutrigenomics which looks at how the interaction of nutrition and genes relates to prevention or treatment of disease. Identifying genes relevant to health and responsive to nutritional support can further personalize a holistic path to optimal health. Currently she works with individuals to test, interpret and target gene variations that are nutritionally actionable, suggesting nutritional support based on one's genetic makeup.
