Michel Moya-Mora, DO(MP)

Michel Moya-Mora is a Registered Osteopathic Practitioner who received his training from the Ontario School of Osteopathy. He is registered with the Society of Osteopaths of Canada and the Ontario Osteopathic and Alternative Medicine Association of Ontario.

Michel is a highly motivated practitioner and very dedicated to his patients. He has built his reputation as a skilled therapist in the Canadian and Hispanic community. Besides English and Spanish, he also speaks fluent Italian, German and French.

Michel’s approach to treatment emphasizes clinical/therapeutic and osteopathic principles and its manipulations. He has a very strong background in the medical field which enables him to effectively find and treat the root cause of various health issues like pain and imbalance, neuro-musculoskeletal disorders, asthma, digestive problems, irritable bowel syndrome, constipation, incontinence, menstrual problems, hormonal imbalances, insomnia, immune deficiencies and fatigue, while enhancing the self healing ability of the body. He performs expert nerve and visceral manipulations and cranial-sacral manipulations as well as lymphatic drainage, which help restore the mobility/motility of organs, improve blood flow and improve organ functions.

In addition to the above, Michel provides the following services: detailed postural assessment, correction of spinal issues, osteo-muscular disorders, and neurological and vascular pathologies.

Besides conducting treatments, Michel also educates and guides his patients to restore overall health and wellness. He develops individualized treatment plans to eliminate or minimize stress-related conditions, structural and functional issues and to restore optimal joint and organ function.

Michel accepts patients of all ages including pre-natal, infants, and the elderly.

Michel’s services for osteopathy are covered by most extended health care plans and most insurance companies with a few exceptions.
